The Seattle Seafair Pirates Official Web Site - Pirate Kings of the Northwest since 1949 It's a high-humored heist by the Seattle SEAFAIR Pirates. The salty troupe's shenanigans and formidable float, the Duck, have become synonymous with SEAFAIR revelry. The Pirates, originally members of the Washington State Press Club's Ale & Quail Society, banded together in 1949 to promote Seattle and Seafair while having fun and serving the community. Despite their bad-guy image, the Pirates make dozens of appearances annually to hospitals and nursing homes. During the height of Seattle's SEAFAIR Celebration, they appear at several events and parades each day. The 40+ Pirates are an elite troupe who carefully selects their members based on their ability to mix well with the public and for their unique musical or theatrical talents.

I am REALLY disappointed! I have been drooling and waiting to be at place in my life to be a Seafair pirate and now find out girls can't be. Whatever. Anyway, I will continue to dream and perhaps I can become a pirate of the caribbean some day, instead of a pirate of seafair. http://www.mividaloca.net/testsites/marcaribe/Cozumel/pirate.html Crystal "Rum Runner"

Wow! Awesome. You guys seem like a great organization. Pirates with a good heart for others.

I too am a pirate, but in a different way. I bring the joy of music to others. I am the lead singer in a pirate band named "the Swabbies" My pirate name is Willie Sea. we are all around the age of 21. We have been together since our 7th grade year of school.

We are a ska/punk rock band. We also have a Davey Jones, he plays drums and is my best friend since Kindergarden. We still play together here in the KC and midwest area. Our purpose is to provide people of any age, with FUN Clean music. and Good clean fun!!! We dress as pirates at our shows and do skits and other fun things. Many of our songs tell about our adventuers on our ship, "The Messenger" keeping the waters safe from Captain Bluebeard and the evil Sea Dogs. We have many messages in our songs. Such as Mermaid Girl, to resist the temptation of a good looking Mermaid girl.

We love to have fun and LOVE Being Pirates. I know this could probably never happen, but if someday we could come there, or if you guys were ever here, we could play you a show, or help you guys out somehow. email me at Willie_sea@arrrrggghh.com and visit our website. www.theswabbies.com

Keep up the Pirate Work, Yo Ho,

Sincerely yours, Willie Sea (Brice)

Let's try that again!...I haven't been able to pull your page up for a while, so hadn't heard about "3 sheets". I know that he will be sorely missed, but consider this...Imagine the size and beauty of the ship he is on now and the fun he's gonna have watching all of us from afar. He's in a better place and for that I am thankful but mostly, I am grateful and lucky to have had the pleasure of knowing him, and enjoying his wild and wonderful spirit that will live on forever.

Thanks for the tips on cooking mussels. We have moved to the coast recently and have only just plucked up the courage to start foraging around on the beach for razor clams and mussels. We will try your Little Pots recipe and report back!

I have loved the Seafair pirates since I was a kid...Used to go to Torchlight every year and pray to get kidnapped by a pirate!

Then, I was in "The Pirates of Penzance" and instead of playing the part of one of the lame girls, I got to be a pirate!! I told the director I wouldn't audition unless I could be one!

Now, I have, (shall we say) an unnatural attrraction to pirates, and fortunately my husband was recently made Captain of his own Ship in the SCA!! Our vessel is the Demon's Anvil, and we are really excited to be living a pirate-y life.

I will try to catch up with you in Astoria this year, as my love for you guys has only grown over the years!

Feel free to kidnap me this year!

Thinking of fondly of the captain and crew, Heather B.

My life was enriched by Bill and I will forever remember the look in his eyes when he made children laugh during parades and hospital visits. "3-sheets" and I hoisted a few together and had some great times. "I love you man!!!"

As our friend 3 Sheets passes into imortality, I am left to think about how lucky I was to have had the chance to know him. Our lunches on the DUKW, his teaching me to drive the old girl, and working late into the night ("where the hell did Bullock go?") to finish the painting on time. These and so many more memories are now my cherished treasures. Bill, "3 Sheets", "Sparky", "Spike", "The Human Torch", Bullock... He was and allways will be One of a Kind, and as long as stories of Pirates are told over a pint, our brother will be remembered. I love you Bill.

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to say Thanks, I am Bill Bullock's cousin. I have always been proud of Bill's non-conformity, in our family volunteerism is considered silly, you know how little it pays. Some people just dont get it, but they mean well. Bill and I are the only two I know of who volunteer to charitable organizations in our family. He was so happy to be a Pirate. So Please let's hear 3 rowdy cheers for Bill. Keep up the good work. Jane
