The Seattle Seafair Pirates Official Web Site - Pirate Kings of the Northwest since 1949 It's a high-humored heist by the Seattle SEAFAIR Pirates. The salty troupe's shenanigans and formidable float, the Duck, have become synonymous with SEAFAIR revelry. The Pirates, originally members of the Washington State Press Club's Ale & Quail Society, banded together in 1949 to promote Seattle and Seafair while having fun and serving the community. Despite their bad-guy image, the Pirates make dozens of appearances annually to hospitals and nursing homes. During the height of Seattle's SEAFAIR Celebration, they appear at several events and parades each day. The 40+ Pirates are an elite troupe who carefully selects their members based on their ability to mix well with the public and for their unique musical or theatrical talents.

Please don't take the comments as diminishing brother. Just because a sailor is to old for sailing does not mean he can't take port in a storm. Matter of fact any port in the storm is the way me grandpa always lived and the smothest waters are always at port. That way a sailor can pay more attention to the rigging.

Thank you for coming to the Central Area Community Festival. I would especially like to thank Pete Klasell and fellow pirates for kidnapping Deb and Cheryl. Kandyce belive me kidnapping Deb and Cheryl was a highlight of our Seafair. We would love to continue visting the festival. The only thing is next time we are going to take you, Deb and Cheryl and were not going to bring you back for at least two maybe three days. I am Turtle Bill's Aunt Ruth. I really enjoy his recipes. I have had his Mussels that he cook for us while on the Oregon Coast. He is some kind of a cook. He also has a wonderful recipe called "Aunt Ruth's Drunken Ribs. Keep up the good work, Bill.
