Seafair Pirate Guest Book
July-August 2000

Little do our heroes, Davy and Big Boat know that SINGL4EVR is really 62-year-old screen door salesman Stanley "Bud" Schlomo from Flint, Michigan who gets his kicks by pretending to be a wench.
Now, back to our story...
Ooohhh, yes I like candy, especially lollipops. Why do they call you big boat any way? Being afraid of the water would be pointless with a big boat and a sailor who knows how to use it, now wouldn't it?! Ignore the narrator, he knows not what he's missing.
First off, it's not the size of your boat, but how you sail it! Of course if it's BIG and you can still set records on the course then your really doing good. Now about the Wrenches, you guys gotta be carefull, those things will really bust your knuckles. As for "NIKKI" & "SINGL4EVR", know your pirate before you promise anything. And finally don't knock "Bud" till you've seen him in his Thong!
OK, Buckshot, so how well do you sail your boat? You bet I can set records, but probably not the kind you'll find in the guiness book of world records (I believe that's rated G). I'd like to see "Bud" in that thong, if you show me yours, I'll show you mine. :)
The name Buckshot says it all. Buck is a (male) Deer. Shot is what happens when your to old for sailing. So 'Buckshot' is a male that is to old for ?? sailing. Will the real BigBoat please stand up!!!!!!!!
Now Petey. I hope you know those comments were meant as support for your prowess, I would never say anything to diminish peoples faith in you. Besides I'd never let anything like a woman come between us, right brother?
Please don't take the comments as diminishing brother. Just because a sailor is to old for sailing does not mean he can't take port in a storm. Matter of fact any port in the storm is the way me grandpa always lived and the smothest waters are always at port. That way a sailor can pay more attention to the rigging.
P.S No way a wench can come between me brother.
Sorry pirates I'm not single any more. I"ve picked up anchor and sliped away.
Perhaps now we can break the shackles of depravity and return to some semblance of RESPECTABILITY. Sort of.
You go, Turtle. Uphold the clubs respectability. three cheers for respectibility, hic.
OK! who's using my name? I've taken up no anchor and don't plan to! But if slip away is what you want me to do...Sorry boys, you missed a golden opportunity. I'm a Goddess on my knees and give one hell of a slip and slide. XOXOXOXOXO Bye Boys !
Awesome, I've seen the duck and the pirates in many parades and near my home over the years! Continue with your strong tradition through the new century.
The true golden opportunity is visiting hurt children and watching the fear of the needle, pain of a cut or the emptyness of no friends disappear when we the SEATTLE SEAFAIR PIRATES step into the room. So I'm not sorry that I missed the opportunity with SINGL4EVR
Well put Big Boat!
WELL PUT INDEED! :)
I'm gonna hurl.
Bucket please.
I am a product of Lakeside, the U, and the Marines. Do you know how great it is to remember the times when men loved to love women; entertain children; and knew how to show a crowd a good time? That's the Pirates - Just keep it going!!!!!!
errr arrr and all that!! great site. I have enjoyed all you folks do for over 30 years. This year I see you are going to visit my friends at MDA Summer Camp in North Bend!! great kids, who will love the visit. I know a few who would make great pirates. Take care and plunder with glee. errr arrr
Alright, I love pirates and I have followed the history behind some of the "Queens" of the high seas (ie.Anne Bonney and Mary Reade) for some time. What's the attitude with Seattle's Seafair Pirates and considering women applicants?
Look's Great! I can't wait to see you guys in the parade. Tell DC Smith I said Hello. I see him frequently since I work at Olympus Press were your Seattle Seafair Pirates Magazine was printed. Great job guys!!
I was at the alki beach landing today and I think I had just as much fun as all the kids that were there. Thanks for the great day. Keep up the great fun. Ron De Rosia 7/8/2000

I HAVE GROWN UP WITH THE SEAFAIR PIRATES AND HAVE INTRODUCE MY OWN KIDS TO THEM ALSO.THE PIRATES WILL ALWAYS BE A PART OF MY LIFE AT THE SEAFAIR MONTH.
I was at Alki Beach when the pirates landed. It was fun to see the pirates. I think all the kids had as much fun as I did. I hope you all had fun also. I love the Seafair Pirates.
Robin, the Kids are what make it a fun event. It was a blast!
I really enjoy watching the pirates come to the Marysville Strawberry festival Parade. I grew up in Seattle Wa. So I seen them when I was Little Now I bring my Great Nephew to see them at the Seafair Torchlight Parade .
Your pics were far freakin' out fanciful fantastic!
Seattle Seafair Parade Marshal, I have to put up with you guy's at the parades, HA HA. Keep up the good work, it wouldn't Seafair without you.
This is kool. One year ago today I was downtown Seattle and the pirates were down there we had great pictures taken with them. I think this is something that I found this site today. Thanks
As always, you guys were great at Kent Cornucopia Days. Enjoyed seeing you! Hey, has anyone seen Gary Vance of late?
Thanks for a great ride on Sat. at Redmond and the special milk shake treat at Red Robin. Couldn't find my picture on the website, but thats OK. Sorry about the dustup at Kent; why is it that Kent causes problems? I love you guys; see you soon. Barb
Geeze Barb, your beautiful mug is all over the Pirate Pics from the Redmond parade.
Loved having you board..
Yeah, Barb! Thanks for taking valuable media time away from me!!!!
Hey Barb, I know you Seafair officials really get around and seem to know a lot of people. Do you think you could introduce me to Sunny Kobe Cook? I think she is ULTRA-HOT. Maybe just her number. Whataya say?
I saw you at Kent this last weekend, thank you for a good time. I helped one of your own find the rest of you at Pied Piper, he "pinned" me, I'll always remember you.
Ok Turtle, I guess you can have her number as long as you never use it ! If Barb will give it to you. Your friend !
Love Dead Bob's page. I knew some of it, and was glad to learn the rest. I would like to know where the Caymanian picture of Rifraf and babe went to.
thanks!
I was born and raised in Seattle....I want to come back home!!! Funny, there is no ocean in Ohio, and so NO PIRATES! What's the point of summer? Keep up the fabulous work.
My dear Lady Beth, You can see that favorite pictures in the picture archive at this link. http://www.seafairpirates.org/PiratePics/archive1998-9/99-11-CaymanIslPirateWeek/billogden/pages/EdCarterandBabe.htm
(My 6 year old son DJ, and my 1 year old daughter Chelsi were down watching the hydros today when you came in....my son BEGGED me to look up your website, and this is his message to you...verbatim)
Dear Seafair Pirates:
This year, the year 2000, when you were at the hydroplane pits, I really liked you. I thought you were a little bit scary to me today, but I really liked you. My little sister gave the Pirate Captain a kiss and he gave her a button.
Your friend,
DJ
To DJ Haskin: We pirates would find kissing Captain Kidd a little scary too. What your little sister did was a brave, brave thing.
I'm back guys, though I be a bit late. But yes I do like candy Big Boat
Ooops, guess I missed the boat with that conversation. Keep up to good pirating fellas.
OOOPPPSSS! pushed the wrong button last try. LOL I'm looking forward to seeing all you guys at the Torchlight, even if my favorite pirate won't be able to make it. I know he'll be there in spirit! and I'll be there for him too. See you there !
Its ok that your favorite pirate cant make torchlight. The rest of his brothers will try our best to make it the best parade that Seattle has every seen.
P.S. you will know we are comming when " BIG WALLY " talks
RIGHT ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you all will, and I'll keep listening for "Big Wally"
No, you can't throw candy; Yes, I have water in the back of my truck; No, I don't know your run number yet; No, I don't know if 'the other ones' are here; Yes, a kiss would be nice, thank you
HAPPY SEAFAIR TO MY FAVORITE CABIN BOYS - the next rounds on you! Your Favorite Clown :)
J.P. is still my favorite clown.
Who's that gorgeous hunk of pirate with the shaggy blonde hair?
Lolita, you must be talking about Mark "the shark" Moyer's younger brother. I don't think he likes girls. :(
Yes, I heard that he does not like girls also. But I have it on good authority he loves clowns.
I like Girl Clowns. Really I do.
HEY GUYS REMEMBER THE PARTY AFTER THE PARADE, SLIP & SLIDE PARTY? MOBY DUCK UP OLD OWEN ROAD, MOVED TO MARYSVILLE, BOY WAS THAT FUN. A FEW YEARS AGO THOUGH. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE ALL OF YOU AGAIN. CALL PLEASE. 360-651-8677 FOR NEXT PARTY.
Um...Girls AND clowns. That's what I meant to say. Yeah.
I want my picture with you guys on the internet at the Greenwood parade...please:) If your not to scarry, I may give you a kiss, otherwise my mom can.
So your Mom kisses all the scary people in your family?
SEE FARE PIRATES I HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON AT GREEWOOD. PLEASE TAKE A PIKCHRE WITH MY SISTER. I LIKE MY PIKCHRE YOU LOOK GOOD TO. NICK age 7
I'll bet the clowns don't get this kind of fan mail!
Clowns don't get this kind of fan mail because they don't perform like you Pirates do!
and people are afraid of clowns.
Ahoy You Scoundrals!! Have a happy and successful SEAFAIR 2000!!!
Hey Spitzer you lazy Bum, we could use a few more cannidates and hey you know the drill. (hope to see you soon, maybe at a parade or something.)
Signing your book in return for mine! Bookmarked your site, enjoyed it very much!
We were with the Sultan Twistie Twirlers at the Green wood parade & you all made quite an impression on our girls!
Dear Dayle, Jim & Jade Humphries : Is it something that we have to pay you to keep out of the newspapers?
Thank you for coming to the Central Area Community Festival. I would especially like to thank Pete Klasell and fellow pirates for kidnapping Deb and Cheryl. They loved it and are still talking about it. You made them feel special. Even though they are plotting a revenge on me, it was well worth it. Pete, I have a thank you gift for you when you return to the office. Please put the CACF festival on your calendar for next year (usually held the 3rd weekend in July).
Kandyce belive me kidnapping Deb and Cheryl was a highlight of our Seafair. We would love to continue visting the festival. The only thing is next time we are going to take you, Deb and Cheryl and were not going to bring you back for at least two maybe three days. Tell Deb and Cheryl thatit was two bad they had the only keys on them other wise they would have been treated like queens for the rest of the day. You know pealed grapes, palm leafs the whole works.
I LOVE you guys. And I think you know that. Wish to hell I could be with you. You are in my heart and PRAYERS. Even Jim E. I LOVE YOU JIM. Hope that the big one goes sweetly. Orcas is all that I hoped it would be. Even better than I thought in some ways. You are my brother's, as I am your's. And I LOVE YOU. Will be back ASAP. MUCH LOVE BP. AKA TURTLE

Idalee, it was fun to see you and even get your picture on the web site. Thanks for visiting.. cheers.,. walter
Nice page! How about some older pictures? By the way, I seem to remember some Seafair-affiliated group called The Vigilantes in the early '60s. Am I dreaming?
You mean the Lake City Western Vigilantes? They are STILL making lots of noise. Been a part of the Seattle culture since 1948. A picture of them at the Greenwood Parade, is IMG_0033.htm
http://www.seafairpirates.org/PiratePics/00-07-26-GreenwoodParade/pages/IMG_0033.htm
Walt u is: Thanks for refreshing my memory about the Lake City Vigilantes, who "been raisin' money for kids since 1946".

Ritchy, aren't you the one whom did the ceremony with the blade and the candle?

RE Globe: Ix-nay on the easts-bray. Family-oriented website, you know. We use this to try to build up our image, not tear it down.
Woops! wrong button again, wish I could figure out this computer stuff, LOL. Any way, saw the Turtle this week, he sure does miss you guys!!!! Hopefully he'll be able to make it out to see you soon.
War with the Seafair Pirates was challenging.... But this Wench got licked, admittedly so...........When 16 Pirates attack one lone Wench..., with no warning, what else could happen but total surrender....! devora, who is presently at Pike Place Market, Seattle, WA.....
Great Web page, had fun looking through it with my son.
I am Turtle Bill's Aunt Ruth. I really enjoy his recipes. I have had his Mussels that he cook for us while on the Oregon Coast. He is some kind of a cook. He also has a wonderful recipe called "Aunt Ruth's Drunken Ribs. Keep up the good work, Bill.
Oh, yeah? Well I'm Turtle's Aunt˛eh, Aunt Nancy. Yeah! And I think he's a BUM!
If you really were Turtles Aunt you would know that he's no BUM, in fact, he's one of the nicest guys I ever met!!!!! Came in third in the NICE GUY contest last year, you know! :-)
Yowza!! All this attention for little 'ol me? My Turtle heart goes pitter-pat! I have been off line for the last month or so and am writing this from Friday Harber whilst visiting my daughter. As for Nancy, well, whoever she is, she sounds sexually challenged. As for the rest of you thanks for your nice remarks about the recipe pages (HI Aunt Ruth!!). Hope to be hooked back up again soon. XOXOXO Turtle
I still say he's a bum.
Well Nancy, I guess there's no accounting for taste now is there? Some would say Turtle is quite a guy, others might say he's an #&%, but I know he's the BEST friend I ever ran in to!
Yes I agree, Turtule is the best I ever ran into.
Oh, shut up.
All this "Turtle Talk" is getting a little out of hand. Alright, he's an OK guy and a pretty good cook but let's give it a rest, my stomach is starting to turn. Uh-Oh, speaking of "turtles" I think I've got a "Turtle-head" Peeking out right now! Gotta GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This site is really cool! I just saw the parade in Monroe today and you were in it!!!
&%#$! one of these days, I'll learn the difference between the TAB and ENTER keys.:-) Any way, HI GUYS! You were right here in my neighborhood, and I missed you. The pictures are great though and I hope if I'm still here next year, maybe you can all come by for a little refreshment and grub! Hope to see you all again soon!
Congratulations Aunt Suzanne!!!! I Loved the photos of the wedding
Your Niece Sandy

Ye may greet me through either Uncle Fergus' Bagpipers' Paradise Guestbook (that be at the Paradise page, http://www.geocities.com/blackbeardian/fergusmain.html); or you can sail out fer Blackwolf the Dragonmaster's Dark Chambers, home o' th' Royal Census (http://www.geocities.com/blackbeardian/bwolfmain2.html). If'n ye needs ter float a note in the air, it be pirate1_power@arrrrggghh.com or, if ye be inclin'd, blackbeardian@arrrrggghh.com.
