Oh, and Cathy, you have excellent taste!
Very nice
My grandfather was a seafair piarate. I'm trying to find any information about him I can. If there is anyone who can help me his name was: Gordon Frear and it was in the 60's (early 60's I think)
I really enjoyed that cute little Pirate named Bob, He's the BEST

I grew up in Seattle (in the early days -- 1948 to 1999) I moved to Newport, Oregon and have started a new enterprise -- Pirate's Plunder "An Antique & Collectibles Mall". I was looking for some pirate stuff for the mall and came upon your site. I have a small tear in my eye as I remember all the fun I had as a boy. Thanks for the memories. I know you guys do some great things for Seattle!!
Yes, we will have lots of parades in July, and no, we won't land on Alki like normal, we'll land like pirates!
WILL YOU HAVE THE PARADE IN JULY AND LAND ON ALKI POINT LIKE NORMAL
Met some of your group in Norfolk, Va I think in 1995. We all had a real good time with Blackbeard(Ben Cherry) and his lovely winch DeeGee.
I think you guys did a great job helping those kids in Lake City. Where would the world be without people like you
Hi Walter! It was really great meeting you last year during the Kent Cornucopia festivities. Hope to see all of you again this year. I still have the skull beads---if you're interested...? Thanks again for the picture---I show all my friends "MY" favorite pirate! Have a great year.
HI WALTER! IT WAS GREAT MEETING YOU DURING KENT CORNUCOPIA LAST YEAR. HOPING TO SEE ALL OF YOU AGAIN THIS YEAR. I STILL HAVE YOUR SKULL BEADS
I am looking for a pirate's name from the past. My Aunt was Willela Doll and her brother was a pirate named Barney. I am looking for his last name, so I know her maiden name as I am doing some family tree stuff. I think he was a pirate in the 60's and 70's. thanks so much!!!!
Bon Jour, Joe Sun, Buenas Dias--Found your site by using the re-enactors web ring. Enjoyed the video of your rowdy time in Japan. The photos of your visit with the children at the orthopedic hospital brought tears to my eyes. At seeing the smiles on the children's faces despite all the medical procedures, I know that your crew are indeed persons of quality and a benefit to all who are lucky enough to meet you all. Thanks for a excellent insight into your world!! Re-enacting Forever!!!! Ciarnat
The last time she was below sea-level, I nearly drowned!

Great site!
From White Jacket -- Chapter XXXII -- A Dish of Dunderfunk Dunderfunk is made of hard biscuit, hashed and pounded, mixed with beef fat, molasses, and water, and baked brown in a pan. And to those who are beyond all reach of shore delicacies, this dunderfunk, in the feeling language of the Down Easter, is certainly 'a cruel nice dish.'
Great Site Gary
There was a quake? WHY DON'T SOMEBODY TELL ME THESE THINGS?!
