The Seattle Seafair Pirates Official Web Site - Pirate Kings of the Northwest since 1949 It's a high-humored heist by the Seattle SEAFAIR Pirates. The salty troupe's shenanigans and formidable float, the Duck, have become synonymous with SEAFAIR revelry. The Pirates, originally members of the Washington State Press Club's Ale & Quail Society, banded together in 1949 to promote Seattle and Seafair while having fun and serving the community. Despite their bad-guy image, the Pirates make dozens of appearances annually to hospitals and nursing homes. During the height of Seattle's SEAFAIR Celebration, they appear at several events and parades each day. The 40+ Pirates are an elite troupe who carefully selects their members based on their ability to mix well with the public and for their unique musical or theatrical talents.

Impressive web site! I'm a Pirate Band Parent from Highline High School (we are pirates too), enjoyed seeing the Seafair Pirates at the Hyack Festival Parade on May 26! We were ahead of you in the parade, but had no trouble hearing the cannon!

But I think the general public should us another try and I will help by brothers to achive there highest standards of pirateizam possibale.

Well lolita, I agree, most of the time the guys are fantastic, but at the strawberry festival parade, they sucked! Sorry guys, I have to be honest. This is not just my opinion, I heard the same from many people around me at the parade. BUT, I'll be looking forward to seeing you in your true, yet rare form, at the next parade!!!! Love You guys!!!

HEY!!!! What happened to you guys???? I went to see you in the strawberry festival parade tonight, in Marysville, You were about as much fun as a dead fish. What happened to those fun loving, wild eyed, buccaneers I used to know? Oh, I get it, the guys I saw tonight were imposters, where are the real SEAFAIR PIRATES? and who said you could use thier DUK? I will be watching for the answers to these questions, if I don't see them, I'll have a lot more!!! I miss all of you fun loving guys, come back!!! :-(
