Hey lads! Have you ever looked at the “Web Page Activity Reports?” Tattoo showed ‘em to me the other day. The numbers are kinda impressive. Our site has had over 5,294,897 hits. This can’t be just us lookin’ for pictures of ourselves. The “Domain Report” is also worth a look. The Domain Report identifies the top origin of visitors to the site. In other words; where are the people at who are lookin’ at the Seafair Pirate’s Web site? Well, the first few are pretty obvious the US, Europe and Japan. But it’s the last 20 places on the list that make me wonder. We got NINE hits from Christmas Island! Yo-ho-ho to Captain Bob "Dead Bob" Gazewood and the rest of his scurvy bunch of fellow Pirates: You guys are SOOOOOO awesome! It was fun playing with you this summer as well as following your travels thru your awesome website! Walters pictures are great! I just saw the pics from Astoria. I loved the lady with the surprised look on her face while Paul had his face on her chest(Walter, I thought you were the only one who licked on tatoo's!) You guys are SOOO photogenic! Now that I've seen what your lives are like during the height of Seafair, I still say if girls could be pirates I'd candidate in a heartbeat! Thanks for all you do to represent our fair city of Seattle by not only entertaining us at parades, but also your work with the sick and disabled of not only Seattle, but your yearly visit with the children of Chernobyl. I am Princess of the Wildflowers for Mason County, we have our annual festival in June, I am wondering why the pirates are not at our parade, my father met the pirates years ago and was wondering if "Curly" is still with the troupe? I am looking forward to seeing you for the first time at The Astoria Regatta Festival. Look for our float it's a big mountain representing our beautiful logging community.. I will be on the left side of the road. I am Princess Cara..I will be looking for you to kidnap me!!!!

Mariann Seafair was 100x more fun just because of you. The memories that were created this year alone will last for a life time. Please remember that the work we all do is not just once a year thing. The friends you made this year can always be counted on. We are hear to make memories and help when ever we are needed. So I can't wait to see you and your family again.
Hey Pirates!! You guys are just awesome!!! I had so much fun at all the parades being the "Banner Babe" for the commodores...... but you guys made it 10x more fun!! Great site........i think i qualify as a pirate as i am a direct descendent of Captain John Benbow of Shrewsbury in Shropshire England he was Admiral Benbows Uncle the only man to Capture Shrewsbury Castle..Spooky or what.....
Just remembering the '50's when the Pirates came to our house for a party. I believe my uncle Paul Schmider was a friend of some of the Pirates. and my other uncle, Bob, was part of the Evans hydroplane racing team with General Motors. I just remember the sound of the swords dragging on the pavement, the snarls and the costumes! But when they came to my grandparents house, I was so scared I ran upstairs to my room and watched from the window until Uncle Paul came and told me it was all OK. I was only about 5 so it must have been about 1957. Those were great times and great memories!

Ahoy thar, Seattle Seafair Pirates --- and greetings to you from Castle Talisker, home of New York City's first and only Unoffical Wizard! That, of course, would be me --- Blackwolf the Dragonmaster, Duke of Talisker, Mage and Emissary to the Court of the Barbarian King, Thor! Of all your Captain Kidds over the last half-century, D.C. Smith was undoubtedly the jolliest. I was shanghaied of old by a few Pirates who had need of a Wizard's ancient Magicks, so I know something of what it's like to sail the ocean blue. Indeed, I do it every other time when I wish to unwind. The Staten Island Ferry has a marvelous flotilla of vessels. I just wish you all could see it. Anyway, I will put your cute little icon thingy in the "Favorite Faire Performers" portion of my Links segment, and will contact you again about my work on the Thor the Barbarian television show. My mother was the one to start me my collection with the sea-fair pirate buttons, I was born 1970 and that was the first button she had gotten, when I had reach the age of 7 she had given me the buttons she had collected an told me it was now my responsibilitie to keep the buttons safe and for me to start collecting them and I did every year since then, I look forword every year for you pirates to show up at the west seattle hi-yu parade, every year you pirates give me the run around to see this pirate or that pirate for a button or you have no button and then I tell my story on how I started my collection,(which I love to do) I get my button give a littl kiss on the cheek and I run back to my family happy as can be that again I got my button and I am happy for about 2 weeks telling everyone I got anouther pirate pin for my collection. I was on a layover in Seattle on the 6th of July and had the pleasure of meeting a few of the pirates. You guys are wonderful. Aye Mateys! Your website seems to be missing "our cast of characters!" How about separate photos of each of your pirates, all in costume (with or without their pirate names). Kinda like ... "this year's menu includes ..." What do ya think?
