The Seattle Seafair Pirates Official Web Site - Pirate Kings of the Northwest since 1949 It's a high-humored heist by the Seattle SEAFAIR Pirates. The salty troupe's shenanigans and formidable float, the Duck, have become synonymous with SEAFAIR revelry. The Pirates, originally members of the Washington State Press Club's Ale & Quail Society, banded together in 1949 to promote Seattle and Seafair while having fun and serving the community. Despite their bad-guy image, the Pirates make dozens of appearances annually to hospitals and nursing homes. During the height of Seattle's SEAFAIR Celebration, they appear at several events and parades each day. The 40+ Pirates are an elite troupe who carefully selects their members based on their ability to mix well with the public and for their unique musical or theatrical talents.

enjoyed your site but one thing bothers me---where is a clear picture of the devise making all that smoke and I guess noise to go with it? The coast of North Carolina is ripe with Pirate history; as a matter of fact Stede Bonnet( the Gentleman Pirate) was captured in the waters off Southport and taken to Charleston, SC and properly hanged. I spoke to a gentleman at the Mariner Fan Fest, asking if the food booth was a fund raiser at all, and how one would get on the list to be able to do it. He mentioned that we would have to be a certain non profit group, which I will check into. But I mentioned to him that my child went to Cascade View Elementary, and that the PTA and Booster Club have to raise $30,000.00 for a new play groun, he mentioned that you donate all the time, and we need so much help. I remember when I was about 5 or 6 yrs old and we were at my godmother Nikki Platt's house down by Seward Park. You all jumped through her bushes behind her patio. She was having a Seafair party that day. I remember being totally petrified and hiding in my mothers bosom for most of the afternoon!

Hi, what exactly is wrong with there feet? my friend was gonna see if her brat dolls tights go down to her foot but it did'nt.. i wonder too but hope no feelings get hurt but i think thats stupid i mean i kind of want a diva star doll and a broatz doll but fix that foot problem!
